Joints – place where two bones meet & movement takes place
3 TYPES:
Immovable/Fibrous, Slightly movable/Catilaginous, Freely Movable/Synovial
Freely Movable/Synovial Joints:
Gliding, Hinge, Pivot, Condyloid, Ellipsoid Saddle, Ball & Socket

Ligaments – made of white fibrous tissue; attached to bones across a joint; they unite bones and limit joint movement
Cartilage – supplementary to bone; covers the ends of bone at joints: reduces friction & adds strength and some elasticity
